The move to the new facility was key to the Alliance Transport Technologies expansion program
In 2016 the company out grew its old premises and moved into its new 11,000sq ft facility in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. The spacious factory houses an expanded engineering division including its in-house designed ‘live part location’ software. The software allows the traceability of all booked jobs as they work their way through the system.

Future updates will include additional production software to create an online portal, whereby customers will have the ability to book a collection online and trace the returned component through the entire repair process. The software will further expedite the speed of the turnaround time to offer the customer an even more satisfying service experience.
As the company continues to grow, it’s currently taking on new customers at a staggering rate of one hundred per month, which should keep the 36 members of staff occupied for the foreseeable future.

Powervamp were first made aware of Alliance Transport Technologies in 2013, and were impressed with their professionalism and product knowledge – they were after all already repairing Powervamp jump start packs for their customers.
Alliance Transport Technologies were dealing with large bus/coach operators, haulage associations and municipal companies, however, it was the synergy with their expanding customer base that made the prospect of working together an obvious partnership.

In September 2014 Alliance Transport Technologies entered into talks with Powervamp which resulted in the electronics company taking over responsibility for the UK distribution of the entire range of Powervamp Automotive jump start packs.
Powervamp founder and chairman Richard Roller explains: “We wanted to ensure that we could maintain and build on our established presence in the automotive market, and decided that the best way forward would be to entrust our sales, marketing and technical backup to an established specialist in this field. Alliance Transport Technologies was the obvious partner for us.”

Alliance Transport Technologies have represented the automotive range of products for the last four years and, having been seen at many commercial exhibitions, are well known within the industry as the retail face of Powervamp Automotive.
With a large surge of recent orders being generated from the prolonged cold UK weather, and with some exciting joint ventures in the pipeline, the future is looking very positive for both companies.

The arrangement with Alliance Transport Technologies covers Powervamp automotive units sold within the UK. Existing arrangements for distribution of Powervamp automotive products in other countries are unaffected.
